    Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve - could be described as the place at which paradise and earthly perfection meet, where almost endless pristine beaches and undulating vegetation blend seamlessly against a backdrop of eternal skies. A place where every day unfolds as a gift, designed with you in mind.
    It is a heavenly place in the Eastern Cape, just outside of a tiny jewel of a village called Port Alfred. Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve is individually and sumptuously appointed; suites are spread along the wave of the Indian Ocean and the reserve facing vistas overlooking sweeping plains.

    All the suites at Oceana offer privacy, serenity and opulence in equal measure, from the moment you enter our peaceful reserve until you leave, our guests are the richer for the experience.

    Beach Walks
    Our staff is on standby to take you down to our beach, to enjoy the feel of the sand beneath your feet and the ocean mist cooling you down. A relaxing stroll along a 7km stretch of private, unspoiled beach with its sweeping dunes will give you a sense of serenity, where your thoughts belong to yourself.

    Rock and Surf Fishing
    As the name suggests, anglers can be catered for. Either by choice or by circumstance some choose not to fish from boats – therefore at Oceana we provide you with the equipment to enjoy fishing without the sound of technology and machinery. An experience where it is all about the catch at the end of a day’s fishing.

    Pétangue
    Pétanque is a form of bowls where the goal is, while standing with the feet together in a small circle, to roll metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (literally "piglet") or jack.

    Game Experiences
    You are invited to climb aboard a safari vehicle and as the lazy African afternoons stretch out seemingly endlessly, spot our range of free to roam animals. We pack sundowners and stop at any number of vantage points so that our very special guests can live the dream that we are lucky enough to call our home – Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve.
